Meet Our Project Manager — Collyn Coram

Loebig Ink Team Member: Collyn Coram

Collyn CoramCollyn Coram was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland and is a graduate of Stevenson University with a degree in graphic design and communications. During his time in school, Collyn participated in high-level problem-based learning that encouraged risk-taking and critical-thinking. In addition to learning in real-world scenarios, he was able to use academic and professional activities outside of the classroom to further augment his college experiences and education. He had the pleasure of meeting Brian Loebig through a mutual friend back in the fall of 2020. After that first meeting, Brian thought Collyn would make a great addition to the Loebig Ink team. Collyn adapted quickly into the role of Project Manager. 

In the brief time he has been with Loebig Ink, Collyn has already learned much about different aspects of the business including SEO, web design, and live streaming. Collaborating with team members on different projects and tasks has allowed him to hit the ground running. Working in collaboration with clients is one of the many aspects to this role he enjoys. Collyn sees himself as a goal-driven individual who strives to be a great communicator and a collaborative team player with an eye for detail and skill in customer relations.

Having already had some experience in live streaming for his church made joining the Loebig Ink live streaming team a natural fit. Collyn also works in his church to implement a grant teaching seniors about technology through online classes. Helping seniors in the community stay connected through the COVID-19 pandemic is one of Collyn’s proudest accomplishments. 

When he’s not busy with Loebig Ink projects, Collyn enjoys being creative across all types of mediums including digital art, acrylic painting, illustration, and murals. He likes the great outdoors and prefers hikes and trails over beach and sand. He enjoys hanging out with friends in Washington, DC and going to museums and sporting events (He is a big fan of the Wizards and the Nationals!). Living in DC has kept him inspired and is what drives him toward becoming better at his craft. His life goal is to help others create visually-appealing work and to bring their creations to fruition.

Aura ParringtonWhen Aura Parrington developed her first marketing campaign, it sparkled with enthusiasm and a catchy little jingle. The future seemed so clear, so attainable. As it so often happens, though, the whole project collapsed before it got much further than her living room. Of course, that may have been because she was eight years old at the time.

By age fifteen, Aura was making a living in retail and carving out new opportunities for herself. In 2012, she married her soulmate, Dan. Getting an education in psychology, social work, and medical transcription broadened her skills and knowledge, and then motherhood laid claim to most of Aura’s time and energy.

In the earlier days of Loebig Ink, Aura’s husband Dan spent over a year working with and for Brian Loebig. Dan’s experience with Brian was excellent and he continues to hold his former employer, colleague, and mentor in high esteem. As Aura saw and felt the supportive, constructive relationship between the two firsthand, early dialogue about the possibility of her joining Loebig Ink’s growing roster began.

Now Aura has finally joined Brian’s diverse team of professionals. As a Project Manager, she works with SEO and contributes some social media consultation. She is grateful for the opportunity to show her stuff as part of a truly excellent team and is eager to put more of her social media skills to use. Currently, she is learning web design as well to diversify her work with the company even more.

Between the pandemic and her commitment to home and family, being able to apply her talents as a social professional from home is just the right fit — despite the jealous efforts at sabotage by her five adoring and devious felines who feel they should have all her attention! Jillian Alexander selfieJillian Alexander met Loebig Ink founder Brian Loebig through a previous job in 2005 when Brian helped to create that company’s website. Jillian stayed in touch with Brian throughout the years. When she found herself searching for a career change in 2016, Brian brought her on board with Loebig Ink by offering to train her in Search Engine Optimization. Using what she learned over many SEO trainings in the last three years, Jillian became a manager on numerous SEO projects. Because of her natural ambition and motivation to continue to learn and grow, Jillian has become a successful and valuable member of the team. 

Jillian now defines her role as an experienced Project Manager in Social Media Marketing and Search Engine Optimization. She manages SEO projects from keyword research through metatags to reporting monthly on ongoing projects. She also enjoys creating content for social media clients while helping them to promote their businesses in their local communities. Jillian is currently learning how to create Wix websites as well as link building, copywriting, and blog writing. She enjoys working on projects together with the Loebig Ink team and recognizes that especially when learning something new, teamwork really matters.

Jillian grew up in the suburbs just outside Philadelphia. She graduated with a degree in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh in 2003 and likes the continued learning that working for Brian allows. As a military spouse, Jillian needs to be able to maintain her career while moving every few years. That’s why she appreciates working remotely. The arrangement is ideal for this very self-motivated, flexible, goal-getter. Most importantly, it allows her to follow her husband, who is in the Navy, wherever he is stationed. 

Currently, she is living with her husband and their three cats in California between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. In her time away from work, Jillian tries to read as many books as possible. In fact, whenever she is moving to a new duty station, she gets a new library card almost immediately. She enjoys listening to podcasts on subjects including business, time management, and working remotely. This year Jillian has experienced hang gliding, which was the top item on her bucket list! Jillian and her husband were released from an airplane over 2,000 feet off the ground.

Marcella SchneiderMarcella Schneider grew up near Frankfurt am Main, Germany. She is currently working on her bachelor’s degree in Online Communication and Marketing at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt. When Marcella was looking for an internship to graduate successfully, she came across Loebig Ink through a shared connection at the BNI Capital Business Alliance chapter. In meeting Brian Loebig, Marcella felt an immediate positive vibe. Brian’s passion to build exceptional online presences for businesses, his creativity, and his attention to detail persuaded her to work for Loebig Ink. She is convinced the internship will be a tremendous opportunity to increase her knowledge in Digital Media Marketing and Project Management.

While working at her first internship when she was only 15 years old, Marcella developed the passion to create effective web strategies. As a web campaign planner, she was already presenting marketing plans to create greater visibility for companies around Germany. That’s when she realized the marketing potential for businesses is growing day by day. Through this and other previous internships, Marcella uncovered a deep understanding and knowledge of the creative process in areas including website design, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) performance, and Search Engine Advertising (SEA) campaign effectiveness. Now, if they can’t find your website, they can’t buy your products or services. This makes the elements of any strong website important: keyword phrases, search engine optimization, high-resolution images, alt tags, easy navigation, and mobile-readiness.

You then need to submit an XML sitemap to Google when changes have been made to a large number of website pages, such as when metatags have been updated in a comprehensive SEO improvement process. The XML Sitemap acts as a road map to your small business website.

As Yoast explains:

You want Google to crawl every important page of your website, but sometimes pages end up without any internal links pointing to them, making them hard to find. An XML sitemap lists a website’s important pages, making sure Google can find and crawl them all, and helping it understand your website structure.
