Loebig Ink Joins the Maryland Black Chamber of Commerce

Loebig Ink joins the Maryland Black Chamber of CommerceLoebig Ink, LLC is pleased to have recently become a member of the Maryland Black Chamber of Commerce. Along with our dedication to specializing in SEO, web development, social media, and internet business solutions for small businesses, networking and community connections are of utmost importance to Loebig Ink. We are happy to take part in furthering the MBCC mission.

Chambers of Commerce create wonderful opportunities for business referrals as well as low-key social events that lead to networking and collaboration. The specific vision of the Maryland Black Chamber of Commerce is to offer strategic support for starting, sustaining, and growing successful black businesses in Maryland. The organization offers affinity groups and resources, and partners with other organizations which hold training events, workshops, coaching, and offer funding assistance. The Maryland Black Chamber of Commerce is a member of The U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC) which provides committed, visionary leadership and advocacy in the realization of economic empowerment.

Many of the group’s events focus on educating those in the region about strategies for starting and growing successful businesses. Recent meetings include Boss Ladies: Improving Health! Increasing Wealth! (in conjunction with the Black Women’s Leadership Roundtable), MoCo Biz in Black, and MBCC & NAACP Present Buy Black Juneteenth. Brian Loebig recently contributed a less formal social, artistic, and networking opportunity to the MBCC calendar by offering the Root Studio Open Mic, a racially and culturally diverse, café/listening room style event featuring acoustic music and spoken word performances. Loebig Ink is a sponsor of the event, which is held monthly in Columbia, MD.

In addition to bringing the second Friday monthly open mic to the table, Brian Loebig has become a member of the MBCC Marketing Committee. Using his marketing knowledge and tapping into his eagerness to work with the members of the committee, he hopes to help increase the reach and membership of the chamber. Loebig Ink believes strongly in the promotion of black businesses as well as in encouraging all people to work with one another for stronger ties in business and beyond.

If you are a business owner and haven’t joined one or more of your local chambers, we hope you consider it! We routinely recommend chamber of commerce membership to Loebig Ink clients for all of the more commonly understood reasons, and also because a chamber of commerce link to your website is excellent for SEO. Read more about the benefits of joining a chamber of commerce, and explore links to a number of chambers in the Maryland/DC area.
