Meet Our Project Manager – Philip Day

Loebig Ink Team Member: Philip Day

Philip Day selfiePhilip Day met Loebig Ink founder Brian Loebig through a previous job in 2007. Philip worked for Brian at Lutheran Family Services of Virginia for about three years before he started working for Loebig Ink. Having joined the group way back when Loebig Ink was re-established in 2010, Philip is the most seasoned team member. Meanwhile, Philip also created his own company, Philip Day Communications, and began working full time in the marketing industry in 2013. Over the years, Brian and Philip have formed a great business relationship and friendship. Philip has grown into a Lead Project Manager for Loebig Ink and his outstanding passion for writing has given tremendous value to many projects.

Philip is now an experienced Project Manager in Social Media Marketing, Blog Writing, Copywriting, and Search Engine Optimization. He enjoys creating storytelling content to help his clients grow their businesses. Philips’s willingness to never stop learning about the industry has allowed him to work on a lot of new marketing areas. The numerous projects on which he has worked include focused advertising, SEO, and developing amazing websites. Philip’s professionalism, courtesy, and creativity in his approach with clients continues to be a great asset to Loebig Ink.

Philip grew up in Roanoke, Virginia. Since graduating from Liberty University in 1986 with a Communications degree and a minor in Journalism, he has written news and advertising copy for local television and radio. Additionally, he has created public relations inserts and pieces, written website copy, blogs and media releases, and he has managed social media accounts and web content. Brian has been a fantastic mentor along the way. Philip is very appreciative that Brian has always guided him in growing his own business as well as in working for Loebig Ink. Philips admires Brians’s ethical approach, honest demeanor, and how he treats each client equally.

Today Philip lives with his wife, Melody, and their dog in Charlottesville, Virginia. In his time away from work, he enjoys reading, bicycle riding in the Central Virginia mountains, and writing his novels. Philip likes to travel with his wife out West and to New England. Within the next ten years, he would like to rent an RV and travel with his wife and dog around the US and Canada. Volunteering is one of Philip’s life passions. He is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Charlottesville and actively supports the Multiple Sclerosis Society. He also stays involved with the Lutheran Church in his area. Philip is very passionate about his business and would like to expand his team to one or two employees in the near future. He would like to grow his marketing knowledge to serve clients even better and to stay on top of upcoming trends.

What People Are Saying

  • client

“Brian is very professional and knowledgeable, but most of all I liked the fact that he did not overwhelm me with suggestions; instead, he motivated me with a "small attainable goals" approach. The tasks he gave me to complete were simple but they made a huge difference in my business and the results are incredible. As a business consultant and a social media guru, he has an invaluable wealth of knowledge to share. ”

“Working with Brian has been one of if not my favorite working relationships. We first met when I started as the marketing director at Bethesda Blues & Jazz. Brian's company, Loebig Ink helped immensely with marketing support in relation to SEO, a new website relaunch, social media & email management, and in depth monthly analytical reports.  ”

“Loebig Ink has been a huge help to me and my business. First I had a website designed by professionals and he made it shine, improved my SEO with fantastic results, and then I designed my own website from scratch which he then did it all over again. Works diligently to make sure everyone is successful, and he truly is a master of collaboration. I can't thank Brian enough for his hard work at helping me make sure I was a success from my efforts on the web. ”

  • ““Recently I had the opportunity to work with Brian on the Partners in Performance Excellence (PiPEX) website. I have worked with several website designers in the past, and by far Brian offered the best product at a reasonable price. His customer service is excellent, putting the needs of our non-profit first. He delivered a visually appealing site, trained us to update content quickly and easily ourselves, and supports enhancements outside our expertise quickly. I would hire Brian again without hesitation and look forward to working with him in the future.” ”
