Loebig Ink Team Member: Philip Day
Philip Day met Loebig Ink founder Brian Loebig through a previous job in 2007. Philip worked for Brian at Lutheran Family Services of Virginia for about three years before he started working for Loebig Ink. Having joined the group way back when Loebig Ink was re-established in 2010, Philip is the most seasoned team member. Meanwhile, Philip also created his own company, Philip Day Communications, and began working full time in the marketing industry in 2013. Over the years, Brian and Philip have formed a great business relationship and friendship. Philip has grown into a Lead Project Manager for Loebig Ink and his outstanding passion for writing has given tremendous value to many projects.
Philip is now an experienced Project Manager in Social Media Marketing, Blog Writing, Copywriting, and Search Engine Optimization. He enjoys creating storytelling content to help his clients grow their businesses. Philips’s willingness to never stop learning about the industry has allowed him to work on a lot of new marketing areas. The numerous projects on which he has worked include focused advertising, SEO, and developing amazing websites. Philip’s professionalism, courtesy, and creativity in his approach with clients continues to be a great asset to Loebig Ink.
Philip grew up in Roanoke, Virginia. Since graduating from Liberty University in 1986 with a Communications degree and a minor in Journalism, he has written news and advertising copy for local television and radio. Additionally, he has created public relations inserts and pieces, written website copy, blogs and media releases, and he has managed social media accounts and web content. Brian has been a fantastic mentor along the way. Philip is very appreciative that Brian has always guided him in growing his own business as well as in working for Loebig Ink. Philips admires Brians’s ethical approach, honest demeanor, and how he treats each client equally.
Today Philip lives with his wife, Melody, and their dog in Charlottesville, Virginia. In his time away from work, he enjoys reading, bicycle riding in the Central Virginia mountains, and writing his novels. Philip likes to travel with his wife out West and to New England. Within the next ten years, he would like to rent an RV and travel with his wife and dog around the US and Canada. Volunteering is one of Philip’s life passions. He is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Charlottesville and actively supports the Multiple Sclerosis Society. He also stays involved with the Lutheran Church in his area. Philip is very passionate about his business and would like to expand his team to one or two employees in the near future. He would like to grow his marketing knowledge to serve clients even better and to stay on top of upcoming trends.
