Meet Our Project Manager – Patricia Smith

The Smith familyPatricia Smith is a wife, mother, singer, and Graphic Designer. She is excited to have recently joined the Loebig Ink family!

Patricia fell in love with graphic design at the age of 18. Being fresh out of high school and when her church needed someone to do their newsletter, she offered her time and found joy in creating something from scratch that everyone could enjoy. She remembers using Microsoft Publisher templates and learning about the color palettes. A new world opened up to her and she set out to explore all she could do. When her pastor met Brian Loebig at a conference and mentioned Patricia, the wheels were set in motion for her Loebig Ink connection.

Patricia was born in Washington, DC and grew up in Prince George’s, Maryland. She has six siblings (two brothers and four sisters). After graduating from Crossland High School in Clinton, MD and the birth of her children, she attended Southern New Hampshire University to earn a BA in Graphic Design and Web Development – still an ongoing pursuit.

Since that first stint as church newsletter designer, Patricia has had many ups and downs trying to break into a field that she holds dear. She has put creative twists to presentations she created at corporate jobs and started her own freelance graphic design business, Patricia Marie Designs. She believes it is necessary to be a continual learner of her craft and rather than to be ashamed of mistakes, to embrace them as the challenges one needs to grow.

Family is a huge part of Patricia’s world. She is married to Karl Smith and they have three beautiful boys together: Jeremy (15), Justin (11), and Jaden (9). She and Karl have been together for 16 years and he is also passionate about graphic design. She counts each member of her family as a blessing and thanks God they are in her life.

Patricia’s other passion is singing gospel music. She fell in love with it as a seven-year-old through singing in the choir and listening to famous gospel singers. She has been singing ever since and would love to one day create an album of her original songs.

Patricia Smith says she is proud of joining the Loebig Ink team and of the exceptional work we do for customers seeking SEO and web design. We are equally proud to have her on board!

Meet Our Project Manager — Collyn Coram

Loebig Ink Team Member: Collyn Coram

Collyn CoramCollyn Coram was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland and is a graduate of Stevenson University with a degree in graphic design and communications. During his time in school, Collyn participated in high-level problem-based learning that encouraged risk-taking and critical-thinking. In addition to learning in real-world scenarios, he was able to use academic and professional activities outside of the classroom to further augment his college experiences and education. He had the pleasure of meeting Brian Loebig through a mutual friend back in the fall of 2020. After that first meeting, Brian thought Collyn would make a great addition to the Loebig Ink team. Collyn adapted quickly into the role of Project Manager.

In the brief time he has been with Loebig Ink, Collyn has already learned much about different aspects of the business including SEO, web design, and live streaming. Collaborating with team members on different projects and tasks has allowed him to hit the ground running. Working in collaboration with clients is one of the many aspects to this role he enjoys. Collyn sees himself as a goal-driven individual who strives to be a great communicator and a collaborative team player with an eye for detail and skill in customer relations.

Having already had some experience in live streaming for his church made joining the Loebig Ink live streaming team a natural fit. Collyn also works in his church to implement a grant teaching seniors about technology through online classes. Helping seniors in the community stay connected through the COVID-19 pandemic is one of Collyn’s proudest accomplishments.

When he’s not busy with Loebig Ink projects, Collyn enjoys being creative across all types of mediums including digital art, acrylic painting, illustration, and murals. He likes the great outdoors and prefers hikes and trails over beach and sand. He enjoys hanging out with friends in Washington, DC and going to museums and sporting events (He is a big fan of the Wizards and the Nationals!). Living in DC has kept him inspired and is what drives him toward becoming better at his craft. His life goal is to help others create visually-appealing work and to bring their creations to fruition.

She is currently working on her bachelor’s degree in Online Communication and Marketing at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt. When Marcella was looking for an internship to graduate successfully, she came across Loebig Ink through a shared connection at the BNI Capital Business Alliance chapter. In meeting Brian Loebig, Marcella felt an immediate positive vibe. Brian’s passion to build exceptional online presences for businesses, his creativity, and his attention to detail persuaded her to work for Loebig Ink. She is convinced the internship will be a tremendous opportunity to increase her knowledge in Digital Media Marketing and Project Management.

While working at her first internship when she was only 15 years old, Marcella developed the passion to create effective web strategies. As a web campaign planner, she was already presenting marketing plans to create greater visibility for companies around Germany. That’s when she realized the marketing potential for businesses is growing day by day. Through this and other previous internships, Marcella uncovered a deep understanding and knowledge of the creative process in areas including website design, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) performance, and Search Engine Advertising (SEA) campaign effectiveness. She gained an understanding of social media to drive customer awareness, engagement, and loyalty. She gathered and analyzed clients and created marketing plans to help them seek their greatest potentials.

Marcella Schneider enjoys interning for Loebig Ink, where she helps to manage social media accounts and to create innovative web designs. Her biggest interest is in gaining insight into how Loebig Ink’s team creates impactful SEO strategies. Her goal is to help small businesses to archive better online visibility to grow their overall effectiveness in their markets. Marcella will always enjoy picking up new trends, networking, and opening up to inspiration to ultimately expand her horizons.

Marcella’s interests include international travel, cooking, fitness, hiking through Great Falls, and catching up with the latest internet marketing trends. She also cannot wait to enjoy the beautiful beach of Corolla, Outer Banks in the summer, which will always be her favorite place to relax and to get new energy for upcoming life projects. Her current passion projects are photography and blog writing. She loves to share her experience of living in a new country.

In Marcella’s small hometown, everyone knows each other. Early on, she knew she wanted to explore the world and eventually even live across the globe. Right out of high school, she decided to take a big step. She lived as an au pair in the United States for two years, which was when she realized the United States is the country she wants to call home forever. Now at 23 years old, Marcella loves to push herself out of her comfort zone to see what life has in store for her.
